Nature and Landmarks

With over 25 parks and two lakes, Buffalo does not fall short on outdoor areas. In addition to playground equipment, boat launch sites and boat rentals, beaches, athletic fields and picnic areas, there are also two golf courses and a dog park.

After its namesake, there are a variety of colorful buffalo statues through out the town. Do the Roam and find the 26 buffalo statues- it's a great way to explore the community! 

Community, Events, and Tourism

To kick off summer, each year in the beginning of June, the city holds Buffalo Days, a community festival that includes a parade, fireworks, carnival rides, music and more. 

 

Throughout summer there are a variety of free concerts held on Thursdays in Sturges park. 

 

Buffalo is home to Minnesota's oldest rodeo. Held in late June and fun for the whole family, come see cowboys work their magic in weekend full of showmanship!

 

The city of Buffalo conveniently has a small airport that is open to public use.
