Retail and Dining

Located in the center of Corcoran, The Stanchion Bar is a well known place for the community to get together. Teresa's is a nearby restaurant serving authentic Mexican food.

Supporting the rural atmosphere, the town has many automotive repair, landscaping, and outdoor supply stores.

Nature and Landmarks

Corcoran has two parks, City park and Wildflower park. While wildflower park consists mostly of nature-themed playground amenities, City park boasts many features. Among the more popular amenities are softball fields, tennis and volleyball courts, and during the winter an ice rink and warming house.

In 1894, a one-room school house was built that served the Corcoran farming community until 1967. Since then, the North Hennepin Pioneer Society has purchased the land and restored the school house so it once again resembles its original form.
