Located near the lake in downtown Wayzata, the Wayzata Depot museum is an old train station that served the area until 1971. Now, the space tells the history of the station and its surrounding town.

Community, Events and Tourism

Wayzata has a variety of community events and activities. A popular, family friendly activity is the DIY sugar maple tree tapping in Wayzata's Big Woods. Other popular community events include free music in the park during the month of August, the 4th of July Flying Pancake Breakfast, and the Wayzata Art experience.
