Golden valley has over 1,000 acres of dedicated park space, in addition to maintaining extensive trails and numerous outdoor sport courts and activity areas. Golden Valley shares a small portion of its largest park, Theodore Wirth Regional Park, with Minneapolis. This large park is proudly compared in size to New York Cities Central Park. Community, Events and Tourism
Head to Brookview park on Monday nights in the summer for a variety of free concerts. In June, the city of Golden Valley hosts a Pride festival in Brookview park, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community with activities, music, food and beverages.
