Monticello has a variety of local businesses and restaurants, in addition to a handful of fast-food chains. Local restaurant favorites include Chin Yuen, Nordic Brewpub, and Rancho Grande. Nature and Landmarks

To the west of Monticello is the Bertram Chain of Lakes regional park, which has beaches as well as boating and picnic areas. In addition to the regional park, Monticello has over 30 parks, some of which are located on the Mississippi River. Click here for a map of all the parks.

Community, Events and Tourism

The Monticello Arts Initiative is, better known as MontiArts, began in 2018 as a way to revitalize the downtown area and connect the community through creativity. Since then, it's become a unique and articitic force in the region.
